Well Done to Jeffrey Eakin’s and his team for a very success, illuminated and enjoyable Tractor Run for the Meningitis Research Foundation, yesterday, Saturday December 23rd. The group started at the Centre, travelled to Marron’s Shop Cross, on to the 5 Crosses, on to Shercock, out the Cootehill road, turning left, heading through Kingscourt and then to Carrickmacross, driving through the town and returning to Corduff. The divers made a wonderful effort to illuminate their vehicles and a few stood out. The winner of the best decorated tractor went to Isobelle McCabe, it was really amazing, hours of work went into preparing Isobelle’s vehicle. Well done also has to go to Jessica Eakin’s for the decorating of her tractor, the ladies went all out and their vehicles truly stood out. A special thank you has to go out to all the tractor drivers who supported this cause and turned out in huge numbers, 77 participants took part, and it really was a fantastic sight while supporting a very worthy cause.
