Scoil Phádraig Parents Association Coffee Morning / Bake Sale in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre today Sunday 9th November from 9.30 am until 1.00.pm. Please join us for a relaxed and friendly coffee morning to raise funds for improvements to the school facilities.
Kids Fancy Dress Halloween Disco was enjoyed by all in the Community Centre last Sunday. Thanks to all who helped out in any way to make the day special for all the children.
Mountain Dew was closed last Wednesday and Thursday evenings to allow time for floor sanding, varnishing and drying. Like all good plans it was hoped there was sufficient time to paint the walls, but that will have to wait until this week. Slow and steady wins the race, but we are looking forward to the job being completed to have the facilities looking well for the upcoming festive season.
Autumn Fíor Céilí hosted by Corduff Céilí dancing club took place in the Community Centre on Friday night last. It was another enjoyable night for the club with music by Antrim man Raymond Loney who kept dancers on the floor and feet tapping for those who needed an occasional break from the dancing. As always, beautiful refreshments were provided at the interval. Thanks to Agnese, Geraldine and Shane for all their work in the kitchen. Sincere thank you to Rosaleen for all the background work in preparing for the Céilí.
Corduff Raferagh Active Retirement are hosting a North East Regional Social event in the Community Centre next Tuesday 11th November with groups from Monaghan, Louth, Cavan and Meath attending. If you were considering joining the local AR group you could pop in between 2 and 5 pm to see what all the groups are getting up to. These events are enjoyable and well done to the local group for organising the day.

Magheracloone Parish Mission – Wednesday November 12th to Sunday the 16th with Fr Ben Hughes. Morning Mass (9.30 am) and evening liturgies (7pm). The Annual Service of Remembrance Ceremony. We would like to invite you and family members to join in the annual Service of Remembrance Ceremony, when we as a Faith Community can come together to remember your loved one, who died during the year. This Service will take place on Sunday 23rd November 2025 in St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross at 4.00pm. A candle will be lit in memory of your deceased family member, and this will be available for collection following the Service. You may wish to light this candle in your home on special family occasions, remembering your deceased. A Candle and Bouquet of Flowers will be brought forward representing all our Deceased in our Parish and beyond. “To those who believe in thee, O Lord, Life is changed, not taken away.”
