Mary’s Meals – A Church gate collection for Mary’s Meals will take place after Mass on Sunday 6th August in Corduff. Thank you to all those who donated so generously in Raferagh last weekend.
Mary’s Meals provides a simple solution to world hunger by providing chronically hungry children with one meal every school day, encouraging education that can lift them out of poverty in later years. Members of the Mary’s Meals South Monaghan group are taking part in the annual Mary’s Meals Step by Step walk to Knock by walking the route from Ballybay-Cootehill on Monday 7th August. It only takes €22 to feed one child for an entire school year. We ask that you would consider supporting our mission by joining/sponsoring our local walkers. Thank you for your continued support of Mary’s Meals

TFI Local Link Cavan Monaghan – Great News – From Monday 24th July 2023 a new Local Link Bus service No. 171 from Shercock to Dundalk will be launched.  The Route starts in Shercock via Corduff Junction (Corduff Cross) – Carrickmacross – Inniskeen – Dundalk Train Station – Dundalk Bus Station.  Five buses will run at intervals to Dundalk and back, see timetable for exact information.  This Regular Rural Service operates on a daily basis – Monday to Saturday. These local bus services are low cost accessible public transport services for anyone wishing to travel and are truly great value.

Perhaps if enough people from the Corduff Raferagh area e-mail the National Transport Authority at to suggest that the bus could come to the Community Centre Carpark it would be more convenient for parking your vehicle or getting dropped off.

The Bus Éireann route 166, Dundalk – Shercock – Cavan will continue to run for the meantime too on Mon, Wed & Fri.
