Ceili Dancing returning on Tuesday 16th at 8.15 pm.  Ceili Dancing is a great form of exercise and it’s good fun.  Even if you don’t know the steps or never done Irish dancing come along, you will enjoy it.

5K Run or Walk – A good incentive to get back into a walking or running pattern this January is the upcoming local 5K Run or Walk on Sunday 28th January.  This is a Community Centre Fundraiser, with the proceeds going towards the upcoming improvements to the building including the new lift shaft etc.  A substantial grant has been received for this work, but the grant is never for the full amount needed, and the community needs to contribute to the shortfall.  Your support will be appreciated.

New Year’s Resolution – Call it a New Year’s Resolution or just a conscious decision but in 2024 when driving in a car park – the Community Centre, Church, Supermarket, School, Hotel or any car park – slow down, become ultra-aware that little people, the elderly and everyone in between may just be about to step or run out from behind a vehicle.  Slow Down – Become Aware.

Nollaig na mBan – A very special thank you to our Glitzy MC Eileen Gomez and our Techie Guru Ellie Ward who kept the Show well and truly on the road last night at the Karaoke Sing Along in the Mountain Dew.  It really was a fun night, with stunning contributions from the three ladies in the corner – you know who you are, fab fun songs from the young ladies, fantastic renditions from Eileen and Ellie and to all who took to the microphone, as well as the seat singers, we thoroughly enjoyed it all.  Thanks also to Mairead and Sinead behind the bar.  A lovely ladies night out.
