Sincere Thank you to Corduff Raferagh Drama Group who officially presented Corduff Raferagh Community Association with a €10,000 cheque, proceeds of their production of Where there’s a Will, there’s a Relative.  This money will phenomenally assist in the completion of the current enhancement project taking place at the Community Centre, so the committee are extremely grateful to the Drama group for their input and assistance.

Summer Camp opportunity for 6th Class Pupils: Clogher don Óige – the youth ministry office for the Diocese of Clogher – will be holding its new “Carlo Camp” in the parish this summer, Wednesday 17th – Friday 19th July, from 10am to 3pm each day. €15 per young person. Fun and games, faith activities, arts, and crafts – Carlo Camp activities will allow young people to remember the importance of their Confirmation, to grow, develop, and look forward to the new life chapter of moving to secondary school in September. Carrickmacross Walking Tours Return  The popular walking tours of Carrickmacross are backon again. These historical tours of the town are very entertaining and informative. They are free of charge and take up to 90 minutes. No booking is required, just meet at the front of the Shirley Arms Hotel every Saturday at 11am until the end of September. If you want to know more about your local history, come along. The walking tours are sponsored by Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce.


A vote of sympathy was passed at last Wednesday evenings meeting to families, relatives and friends of Patricia Hand, Priit Karsna, Lucy Nelson.  May they all rest in eternal peace.
