90th Birthday Celebrations – Wishing May Tuohy a belated Happy 90th Birthday. May was born in Lisnafeddaly on the same day as PJ Finnegan. The two family homesteads were just across the hill from each other. To add to the two new residents of the townland, two girls were fostered into the Keenan homestead, increasing Lisnafeddaly’s population by 4. One of the foster girls, Julia Nugent (née Donaghy), passed away on 9th February 2013, in Dundalk and returned to be buried in the new graveyard in Corduff.
Summer Solstice Heritage Group Ramble will take place on Sunday June 21st @ 6.30 pm, starting from Corcreagh NS, all are welcome.
