For the Children of our Faith Community making their Confirmation and who wish to take the Pledge will take place today at St Michael’s during Mass.

Rosary for Lent – The rosary is recited each Wednesday evening at 6:50pm and each Sunday morning at 10:20am before Mass in Corduff & Raferagh. Consider making that extra effort for Lent to pray together with and for our local community; especially remembering our loved ones gone before us who belonged to a generation of people who valued their faith, with prayer nourished in the Mass & Rosary.

 

Corduff Raferagh Community Centre Class & Group activities – Monday – New Level 2 Computers Class starts at 10 am.  Set dancing at 8 pm.  Line dancing at 7 pm. Tuesday – Active Retirement Group meets at 10 am every second Tuesday.  Ceili Dancing Class 8.15 pm – 9.30 pm.  Wednesday – Bowls at 8 pm.  Thursday – Corduff Pipers at 8.30 – 10 pm.  Saturday – Social dancing to Andy Ferry.

 

Level 2 Computer Class – A 6 week course will start on Monday 19th February at 10 am in the Community Centre for those wishing to continue the introductory computer class and it is also open to new participants.  Cost €30  For more information contact Pauline on 087 2977091

 

Corduff Raferagh Heritage Group meeting on Wednesday 28th at 8pm.

 

Carrick CCE Annual Pancake Supper & Seisiún took place in the Mountain Dew last Friday night with a great turn out of musicians.  An enjoyable night was had by all.

 

Social Dancing to Andy Ferry in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre on Saturday 24th Feb at 8.30pm,

 

St Brigid’s Crosses – Blessed St Brigid’s Crosses, are available in St. John’s Raferagh and St. Michael’s Corduff.  All donations going to Carrick Cancer.

 

Corduff Raferagh Community Association – At our meeting last week a vote of sympathy was passed to the families, relatives and friends of Pat Threadgold, Katie Cooney, Peter McConnon and Eamon O’Connor.  May Pat, Katie, Peter and Eamon rest in eternal peace.

 

Congratulations to Dean & Amy Keenan on the birth of their baby daughter Ellie.  Also to the proud new grandparents Patrick & Martina, and to the new aunt Patricia and uncle Michael.  Congratulations also to Kim & Johnny Tevlin on the addition of their baby son Rian to their family.  Wishing the Keenan, Murnaghan, Tevlin and Crossan families health and happiness with your new bundles of joy.
