Be Safe Be Seen – During these brighter evenings and indeed during the day some pedestrians and cyclists may think they will be seen by motorists.  But it is sometimes quite difficult to see pedestrians and cyclists unless they are dressed brightly or using Hi-Viz gear.  PLEASE wear bright clothing – Be Safe Be Seen.

Defibrillators – Do you know where the nearest Defibrillators are located – Corduff Community Centre A81 A263, Corcreagh National School A81 YR59, Shantonagh Post Office A75 FK75, McEvoy’s Pharmacy, Shercock A81 YX27; Manor Farm Gates, Shercock, A81 RH39; Carrickmacross Workhouse A81 E372 and Bawn handball club.

Litter – It’s that time of year again where it is very noticeable the amount of litter strewed on our roads.  Prior to coivd a large number of locals spent days gathering litter, but sadly within days if not hours other came along and carelessly threw items out of their vehicles, which is very despondent for those trying to make the area tidy and neat.  If every household got out a spent a half an hour litter picking close to their own home think of the difference it would make.  And think of the difference it would make if those responsible for littering our roads would just think twice and dispose of their litter in a bin.
