Rosary for Lent – The rosary is recited each Wednesday evening at 6:50pm and each Sunday morning at 10:20am before Mass in Corduff & Raferagh. Consider making that extra effort for Lent to pray together with and for our local community; especially remembering our loved ones gone before us who belonged to a generation of people who valued their faith, with prayer nourished in the Mass & Rosary.

The Mighty Tess O’Connor has expressed a heartfelt THANK YOU to all her loyal supporters, helpers, shops and to all who made such generous donations.  You were all part of yet another very successful fundraiser.  This year’s St. Brigid’s Crosses project generated a grand total of €3270 for Carrick Cancer.  Well done to Tess and all who assisted her. Tess was hard at work, weeks in advance to make sure everyone who wanted a cross was not disappointed.

Bowls – The Oriel Zone team will return to Corduff Raferagh Community Centre on Saturday 2nd March to take place in the All Ireland Semi Final.  Best wishes to all involved.

Litter – Our roadsides are looking terrible with all the litter thrown out of vehicles.  Please bring your litter home and dispose of it properly.

Brendan Finnegan Memorial Cup football match between the Corduff Legends and the Amsterdam Legends will take place next Saturday 2nd March 2024 at 3pm at Corduff Gaels GAA Pitch.  Following the match refreshments will be served in the Mountain Dew followed by entertainment & presentations.  Last year a large contingent of locals travelled to Amsterdam for the first Memorial Cup football match in memory of Brendan who played with both Corduff Gaels and later with Amsterdam GAC.  We look forward to welcoming Brendan’s former club mates, friends and the Finnegan family to Corduff for the second leg of the Memorial Cup.  For further details contact George McKitterick on 087 3611188.
