Mary & Thomas Keenan & their son Thomas, Sreenty & deceased members of the Keenan & Rushe families Greaghlane.

Wednesday 31st May, 7.00 pm, St. John’s – May Procession followed by Mass at 7.30pm for the deceased Members of the Finnegan & Devlin families, Lisdrumturk.

Sunday 4th June, 11 am, St. John’s – James & Rose Murphy, Faraghy & Mary, Peter & Michael McEneaney, Lisserill.

May Procession with the Blessed Sacrament takes place on Sunday 28th May at 3 pm starting at St. Joseph’s Carrickmacross, returning for Benediction at 4 pm approx.  See parish bulletin for full details – https://www.carrickmacrossparish.ie/our-parish/web-cam/

 

Rosary for the month of May will take place at St. Michael’s grotto at 8 pm daily.  Praying for all families in the community, especially the sick and those struggling in any way.  Everyone welcome.

 

Blessing of the Graves will take place in St. Joseph’s Carrickmacross on Sunday 2nd July after 12 noon Mass.  At St. Michael’s Corduff on Sunday 9th July, after 11 am Mass. And at St. John’s Raferagh on Sunday 16th July after 11 am Mass.

 

A New Safety Railing has been installed at the top of the avenue at St. Michael’s church, please be aware of this new construction to avoid reversing into it.  There is limited space at the top of the avenue so please be extremely careful when driving in this area.

Set Dancing Classes have now concluded for the summer but will return in September.

 

Ceili Dancing Classes have also concluded for the summer but will return in September.  There was a great turnout for the finale last week.  After the dancing concluded supper was served.  Thanks to all who brought beautiful home baked goodies & spot prizes.  Thanks to Agnese for all the pots of tea and much more.  And sincere Thank you to Rosaleen for her patience and dedication in keeping the classes going, the classes are always enjoyable and attended by an enthusiastic group of all abilities and ages.

 

Extending Sincere Condolences from the Corduff Raferagh Community to the White family, Corvally – Alan, Dora, Ruth, Anna and Robert on the passing of Jimmy White earlier this week. May Jimmy rest in eternal peace.

 

Congratulations to Shane & Éilish McNally, Greaghlatacapple on the arrival of their baby daughter Éabha & also to the proud Granda Benny, Granny Maura & Auntie Berniece.  Health & Happiness to the McNally family.

Corduff Raferagh Community Association Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, 15th June 2023 at 8:30pm, in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre. Please return the Nomination Form to us on or before Thursday 8th June 2023.
