As of last Wednesday 5th February 2026, the Anglo Celt will now feature Corduff Raferagh news in its Local News section.
If you have any news items, events, notices, announcements etc please email info@corduffraferaghnews@gmail.com before 6pm on Sunday evening as the Celt is printed earlier in the week than the Northern Standard was. With the Celt taking on more News, items may be edited or may be printed at a later date, so please bare with us all as we adjust to a new routine.
The weekly Heritage article will no longer feature due to space constraints which is totally understandable.
We are delighted to collaborate with the Anglo Celt who have taken on the news from around County Monaghan, ensuring the historical archive of the county continues in print. Past events, news and information is readily available in newspaper archives which give us a deep insight into the society that our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents grew up in, so it is wonderful that this will continue for future generations.
