40/20 Celebrations at Corduff Raferagh Community Centre

40 & 20 Year Celebration Tickets on Sale – Just a week to go to the 40/20 Celebrations in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre.  In order to provide numbers for catering please purchase your tickets ASAP (by Sunday 12th March if possible) by contacting any committee member or purchasing from the Community Centre or Mountain Dew any evening. A night not to be missed to celebrate your community over the past 40 years

 

St. Patrick’s night Trad Session in the Mountain Dew is a double celebration, 15 years to the day since the Trad Session began, and 20 years to the weekend since the Mountain Dew opened.  All past and current musicians, singers and dancers are invited to come along as well as all members of the community, for a night of entertainment, craic & celebration.

 

Corduff Calling II – To coincide with the 40th Celebration of the Community Centre we are delighted to launch at our celebration on March 18th the new and updated Corduff Calling book which will incorporate the contents of the original publication.

 

Community Centre Photographs – If you have photos of the Community Centre or events over the past 40 years we would appreciate it if you could send them to us for our 40/20 celebration.  We all have photos of concerts, plays, events, parties, Youth Club, Bowls, Football, Drama, Retirement Parties, Fundraisers, Fancy Dress, Lorry Pulls, Coffee Mornings etc  Photos of the outside and inside of the building  Email to corduffraferaghnews@gmail.com, WhatsApp to Bernie on 087 9555762 or message to Corduff Raferagh Facebook page.  Thank you.

Extending Sincere Sympathies from the Corduff Raferagh Community to Reggie & Marian Maggs, Jacinta & PJ McCabe, Florence, Noel & David on the passing of their sister and sister-in-law, Kay Daly.  Also to Kay’s partner, daughter, sons and the extended Maggs family.  May Kay rest in eternal peace.

 

Sympathies – The Corduff Raferagh Community sadly and poignantly welcomes home Laraine Long, Glenties, Co. Donegal (née Eakin, Sreenty) on her final journey to Sreenty. To her husband Robert, daughter Saphran, son Oliver, parents Fred & Jean, siblings Edgar & Irene and the extended Eakin and Long families we extend our sincerest sympathies to all. May Laraine rest in eternal peace.
