Erected by Louise Strong, to the memory of her beloved husband Joseph Strong, formerly of Maracloon, and late of Her Majesty’s Customs at the Port of Liverpool, who died on the 31st day of March 1857, aged 40 years. – Christ gave him and took him and now has recieved him, for death has no sting since the Saviour has died.
