Heritage Week Event – This year for Heritage Week the Group are visiting Corvally Church and Hall, as well as St. Patrick’s Church. This takes place on Thursday evening, Aug 20th, meeting at Corvally Church at 7 pm. We are really looking forward to this event.
Visit to Lough Fea – Carrick Cancer are organising a fundraising visit to Lough Fea on Sunday 23 August from 12 to 5pm. Picnic Area, Pet Friendly, Light refreshments in the Great Hall, Historical Talks, Live music by Brendan McCahey & Friends, Nature Walks. Donations €10 per adult. Vintage Tea Party & Pre Loved Fashion Sale in aid of Carrick Cancer & Steadfast House Daycare Centre takes place in Corduff Raferagh Community Centre on Sunday Sept 13th from 12 noon to 4 pm. More details to follow.
Condolences – Today we extend sincere sympathies from the Corduff Raferagh Community to Charlie, Patricia, Michéal, Noel & Bernard Murtagh and all the Murtagh families on the passing of Charlie’s beloved mother Margaret. From Corbane, Margaret moved just about 2 miles down the road to Tullyrain when she married Tommy and over the years both herself and Tommy attended St. Michael’s and the Community Centre on some very happy and some sad occasions. May Margaret’s very gentle soul rest in eternal peace
